Privacy Policy

How Asteria handles information used to create personalized astrology-style reports.

Information we collect

We collect name, email, birth date, exact birth time, birthplace, selected focus, purchase details, and one-way technical security hashes. Compatibility products also require the second person’s name and birth details. You confirm you have permission to provide them.

How we use it

We calculate natal-chart data, generate previews and purchased reports, process payments, prevent abuse and duplicate charges, provide downloads, and—when enabled—deliver reports by email.

Service providers

Birth details are sent to the configured astrology service. Chart data and instructions are sent to OpenAI. Stripe processes payments. A configured mail provider may deliver transactional messages. These providers operate under their own terms.

Retention

Free previews and chart data are retained for 30 days. Rate-limit fingerprints are keyed one-way hashes. Paid orders, reports, and accounting records may be retained for up to 24 months or longer where law requires.

Security and your choices

Private report links should not be shared. You may request access, correction, or deletion from the operator; some transaction records may need legal retention. Public deployment must use HTTPS for Asteria and the astrology service.
